The Only Real Question Is...

There’s only one REAL question that you have to answer these days…

What have you got to show for it???

The underlying problem with ANY and EVERY ultra-neo-activist and its movement… and it does not matter WHAT the activist supports, it's all the same...

is this...

They offer absolutely ZERO room for discussion.

They harbor the belief that ALL thoughts contrary to theirs are WRONG and are not worthy of discussion. If a disagreement is voiced, those voices are considered beneath contempt.

NO ONE WILL NEVER initiate, institute, create or otherwise encourage ANY FORM OF CHANGE through the imposition of a singular will while there’s a total disregard for one of the sides of the fight.

NEVER.

The only one-sided "benefit" to ever be gained from force-feeding a singular – and typically radical agenda – down the craw of the unwanting, unwilling people will be a short-termed celebrity. That’s it.

It won't take long for those voices that were oppressed and forced to acquiesce (in the short term) to find a way around, over or better yet, straight through the agenda the had been forced upon them in the first place.

THAT construct is not activism.

THAT construct is an imposition of singular will, intent and agenda.

THAT construct has nothing to do with change.

Efforts such as these – thinly veiled as activism – are in NO WAY NOBLE.

They are truly despicable and vile in nature.

TRUE activism for the purpose of greater good is a marvelous and wonderful thing, but there's only one problem with it in these modern times...

THERE IS NO IMMEDIATE SATISFACTION FOR THE ACTIVISTS.

THERE IS NO IMMEDIATE, SELF-IMPOSED GLORY FOR THE ACTIVISTS.

In other words, in their eyes, the change takes TOO long, and they might not get the credit and spotlight. It plays out almost every day in the current state of world affairs.

You never hear very much about the REAL activists that live and breathe in the world as they believe it should be.

You never see them in the news, in front of microphones and cameras when they have something to say simply because they ‘say it’ and ‘show it’ in everything they do – just to try to get it done.

THEY LIVE IT.

As I said, there’s only one REAL question that you have to answer…

What have you got to show for it???

Can ANY of these politically-motivated, overly public activists answer this simple question?

No, they cannot, because they have ZERO gains to show for all of their showboating and grandstanding.

ZERO.

What they do and the venom they spit is for THEIR OWN BENEFIT and no one else’s.

Their cause is NEVER their OWN cause.

It’s too selfish of a premise to even initiate a conversation on ‘change’.

This is why every last one of them fails.

It is ALL about, “Look at me! Look at me! Look how brave I am!”

All screamed in the hopes that some horse’s ass will genuflect before their greatness and promote and christen them as ‘noble warriors and activists for change’.

Hollow ignorance is not in any way noble, it is in no way courageous and it will never create change of any kind.

True courage is silent.

True courage is self-demanding, not demanding of others.

True courage NEVER has to ‘gather’ attention and praise because it creates it all on its own – and without a care for any recognition.

THOSE are the true activists worthy of attention and support.

Yet we hear, “How dare you! How dare you!”

How dare me? I say, “HOW DARE YOU!!!”

Get over yourself.

Wars have been blood-raged horrors in the Middle East for THOUSANDS of years, yet PUBLICLY defying one – or either – of the combatants will somehow change this in an instant?

Try reading a book.

Question, disagreement and even outrage should be public, yes, but outright defiance of ANY doctrine – in particular foreign and religious doctrines – is just plain reckless, not to mention overly ignorant and just plain stupid.

These wars stem from the ancients – from those who began the wars THOUSANDS of years ago. It is by now an unfortunate, adapted and ingrained element of their cultures.

And a whining, crying, over-used political pawn of a child with a microphone is now going to ‘show them all the light’?

Again, get over yourself and try reading a book.

There’s NO thought put towards the end game – or even toward the next play after the grandstand.

It’s just as bad as kids waving the foreign flags of one side of a war or the other in protest of their actions…all the while sitting safely at home in their own country, very well-protected.

At the same time using those foreign flags as an ‘attack’ on their own homeland.

Never once setting foot in those very real and horrible worlds.

Never once having to fight the actual raging wars for themselves.

Zero courage. Zero nobility. Zero accountability.

Total and absolute ignorance.

I quite literally laugh every time I see Palestinian flags in the hands of college kids surrounding a banner that reads, “Queers for Palestine”. It happens much too often.

I sincerely hope that this NEVER happens, but sadly I can easily see a boatload of the “queers for Palestine” heading directly to Gaza to show their support for Gaza over Israel.

They would meet with a most horrible end.

THEN the truly despicable and vile nature of that war-beast would appear.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then do a little research concerning the ‘laws’ – and punishments – over there.

I would NEVER wish that end on ANY person, no matter who they are or what they say or do.

Disagreement is a GOOD thing.

Questioning that disagreement is an EVEN BETTER thing.

But thinking for yourself is the BEST OF ALL POSSIBLE WORLDS.

THEN you can begin the conversations about possible change.

THEN AND ONLY THEN do you have any prayer of initiating a real and lasting change.

It doesn’t take a podium and microphones and a biased press to create a lasting change.

It’s nothing but polluted noise, and it DOES NOT WORK.

It takes real question and real thought and real discussion to form a lasting change.

It takes a long, calculated TIME to create that lasting change.

So…for all of the foreign flag-waving protests and all of the boat rides and all of the childish whining without substance, the only real question is…

What have you got to show for it???
