Things are beginning to move once again!
In August, my original poem, "Such a Thick Hide" will be published in the digital and print editions of the Washington Square Review Journal - https://washingtonsquarereview.openlcc.net/
It's a darker kind of piece, but it strikes a definite chord with readers.
But hopefully before that my podcast interview with Washington Square Review will be available. It's a 30 minute talk with them about this poem, my writing in general and a lot about my walk-of-life as it's affected my writing over the years.
It was A LOT of fun to record and it should be just as much to watch and hear!

The other happening is my original short story, "The Flop House" will be published on November 2, 2026 in The Bookends Review!
This is actually a story written from a restless night of bizarre and twisted dreams.
It's an interesting ride!
