I WON’T EVER FORGET.
I CAN NEVER FORGET.
I can still see every bit of it.
I never, ever, in my life ever wanted to see it again.
I never, ever, in my life ever wanted to feel that way again.
Yet, here we are…again.
I still remember watching – in real-time – as the second plane hit the second tower.
I still remember watching – in real-time – as the towers collapsed.
Thousands of people instantly, pointlessly, needlessly dying.
BUT…I also remember the outpouring of HUMAN LOVE and SUPPORT that flowed from almost every country of the world.
Every FREE nation of the world, standing up and pledging their support for US (We, The People).
Military, civilian, political – ALL OF THEM.
Even our OWN politicians – BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE – came together and sang “America The Beautiful” on those steps, on that night in DC.
BUT…I also very clearly remember who was cheering and laughing and celebrating the instant, pointless, needless deaths of thousands…
IT WAS ONLY THE RADICALIZED ENEMIES OF US AS A PEOPLE.
And I won’t ever forget that.
And I cannot ever forget that.
I never, ever, in my life ever wanted to see any of that again.
I never, ever, in my life ever wanted to feel any of that pain again.
Yet, here we are….AGAIN.
Over the past several days, I watched the Māori Faithful of New Zealand speaking out in HAKA…in support of US (We, The People).
Incidentally, in the modern world, HAKA has come to symbolize Strength, Unity and Courage, NOT just a challenge for war.
It is a very physical, profound demonstration of Human Love and Support for US (We, The People).
I watched the Italian Prime Minister almost immediately demonstrate a very loud and public Human Love and Support for US (We, The People).
Then the German People, the French People and the Peoples of the UK, just to name a few – all of the countries and Peoples with their own troublesome National problems and concerns to deal with – all demonstrated a very loud and public Human Love and Support for US (We, The People).
The distinction between ‘liberal’ and ‘conservative’ played NO part in ANY of these shows of Human Love and Support for ANY OF THESE PEOPLES.
And once again – and true to form – the ONLY ones that celebrated the death and pain were the RADICALIZED ENEMIES OF US AS A PEOPLE.
Once again, they stand alone in this position.
They stand alone, once again attempting to blame the victim of cold-blooded murder for being shot.
They stand alone, once again believing in their own pipe dream of moral superiority.
They stand alone, once again believing they are in no way responsible for this murder.
Once again – for them – it’s everyone else’s fault.
They would have the world believe that the blame for this cold-blooded murder lies with US (We, The People).
BULLSHIT.
GO FUCK YOURSELVES.
Same exact thing I said twenty-four years ago.
My only avenue and outlet back then was a ‘Letter to the Editor’
If you don’t know what that was, open a book.
And here we are once again.
And now there are TWO days in my life that I wish so desperately I could forget.
But I NEVER CAN forget them.
And I NEVER WILL forget them.
Because once again, we have been set upon by thoroughly radicalized cowards.
Cowards over here.
Cowards over there.
Every which-way, another coward peeks out over the hedgerow.
Cowards. There is no other word in the English language to define them. Cowards.
But they’re always sure to stay just out of sight, whether it’s hiding behind keyboards, hiding their faces or trying to cloak their words as somehow ‘just’ and ‘necessary for the greater good’
They’re always sure to keep themselves as far away from the fires they’ve stoked so they won’t get burned.
Cowards not only fear the fight they started, cowards run from it.
Remember these words spoken by Wyatt Earp at The OK Corral?
“The fight’s commenced…get to fighting or get away!”
It was directed at the instigator of that fight as he cowered in the middle of it, begging not to be shot.
No truer words were ever spoken on the nature of conflict.
It means that if the fight meant so much to you that you had to commit the unspeakable, then stand for your convictions and fight the fight you started.
If you still have no idea what I’m talking about, open a book.
To do otherwise, shows the true fear and intent involved and it shows the world that the fight lacks any of the power of its loud conviction.
Then the instigators become nothing more significant than an annoying fly begging to be swatted and squished.
Cowards across all of time have always lived – and always will – under the misguided delusion that if they just keep on bullying and insulting and provoking (without actually fighting), then the rest of the free-speaking world will cower before them…and they’ll get their way.
If this is your belief, you live within a fool’s fantasy.
If this is your belief, you do NOT live in the real world. Life is NOT a video game, kids.
I suppose the radicalized persons are inclined to believe this because, up until now, the rest of US (We, The People) have let them spout their nonsense because they really weren’t hurting ANYONE but themselves. It has never been about ignoring them.
It’s always been about our disregard for them and their uselessness.
You should never mistake disregard for weakness.
All of US (We, The People), in fact every sane and stable person alive, knows exactly what they are and what they do, but until now, they have been disregarded for it.
We expected that their wicks would snuff-out in the wax just as fast as they opened their mouths.
Unlike the cowards involved, we’re not about to start a fight…that is, until we’re forced to fight it.
BUT…when they ignorantly marched across that last inch and crossed over the line from annoyance to cold-blooded murder, they flipped the choke and pushed US (We, The People) into full throttle.
The thing that escapes the simple, radicalized, sheepish mind is the very simple fact ‘the fight’ can and will take MANY, MANY DIFFERENT FORMS.
Unlike them, we don’t have to fire a single, cowardly shot to win the fight they started.
They have NO idea what to expect.
They have NO idea what’s coming.
Even if they did, they’d never believe it because their programming taught them a different narrative.
Guess what?
THEY WILL LOSE.
And we won’t ever forget the crimes committed against US (We, The People).
And we cannot ever forget the crimes committed against US (We, The People).
Not one of us ever in our lives, ever wanted to see any of this again.
Not one of us ever in our lives, ever wanted to feel any of that pain again.
Yet, here we are….So, there’s nothing left to say but…
“The fight’s commenced…get to fighting or get away!”
